Why Movember?
My main reason has been gens. Gens? Yes, gens. When the cancer is so close to oneself as it was to me, and your father is on it, life gives you a big sign and asks you what are you doing to me? Everybody, more or less see the call of that woman with the scythe in their own door even she is not calling us directly.
My second reason is just selfishness. If my father has had it, I have many changes to have it too!!!
Once you pass through, even though everything went ok, your life will never be the same. How important something is, it is always relative, because I am sure that if you are reading this, probably there are millions worst than you right now.
Movember takes care about men´s health, like prostate and testicles cancer. Furthermore, some of the money goes to awareness, information and education in this kind of diseases, because as every woman knows, men, we are "too much macho men" when anyone touches our "masculinity", but always it arrives an age, when you must go to do some checks to your doctor, to see that everything goes ok. If you catch it on time you have many changes to be alive.
Even the way they have to collect money is original, Movember comes from Mustache and November and it is on November when we allow to grow up our mustaches to collect money.
How can I make a donation? That is so easy, you can donate safely with credit card or PayPal, you only have to write in your browser MoBro.co/hecorman or click in this link Donate to @Movember with Héctor. Additionally you can vote for my mustache and give the maximum score. I know it is a lot asking but you can donate what you can afford €3, €4 not everyone can afford a lot.
As we said in Spain, ask for money is sad, but it is sadder to steal it...
