This week unemployment data has been the worst in history again. 6.2 million people, a 27.2 percent, makes a new negative record in Spanish economy. This figure opens again the debate about austerity against waste, cuts against more expenses. Now that debt rate is lower than two years ago and politic reforms and austerity measures do not look enough to bring investors and create new jobs, a change in economic politic is again necessary.
While the Irish Times talks mostly about unemployment the WSJ talks about rethink austerity.

The Economist highlights immovability in Spanish people as a problem in economic recovery. Is good the Spanish culture of one house for all your life?

The Guardian talks about El Cid Campeador remembering the movie.

To finish do not miss the video about education, is it education the same than schooling?

One scandal, two scandals, three scandals... All Spain is a scandal!!!
This week the NYT talks about the King and his family. A few years ago Juan Carlos I was "untouchable", but now is on every newspaper because of his son in law Iñaki Urdangarín. Although his roll in "Transición" and his importance in foreign affairs, Spain history memory is always short as in a fish. In a moment when all politic parties are involved in different corruption cases, Spanish unity is falling apart because of a recession that thanks to some politics became a crisis. All Spain is crying out for a change, not just a makeup for a moment but a deep change in all Spanish politic institutions. Politicians, judges, even the King is involved in acts of corruption, bribes and "enchufes" (literally socket) that have became daily business in Spanish institutions. Where is the exit?
The Economist explains why the current euro system is not longer able to survive with the actual politics. A deep reform will be necessary in a short term. Can we trust politicians pressured by small groups to do the job?
To finish, do not miss Rafael´s video Escándalo...
